You don’t need to be flexible or experienced. Just a willingness to slow down, listen, and let your body guide you back to its natural rhythm.
Beneath the busyness and the constant demands of daily life, your body remembers how to rest. It knows how to move with ease, to breathe fully, and to feel at home in the present moment.
For much of my life, I felt weighed down by stress, overwhelm, and exhaustion. No matter how hard I tried to push through, I often ended up feeling disconnected from myself and my body. My body was constantly stuck in survival mode, feeling tense, uptight, rushed and not being able to relax or fall asleep easily.
This impacted many areas of my life, it felt like pouring from an empty cup. Relationships and work felt overwhelming, and everything felt like a chore.
I had a racing mind, often replaying scenarios over and over, which was so exhausting.
I did a lot of mindset work, but still my body was holding so much stress. Until I found the missing piece…. Somatics.
The term “somatics,” generally means “of the body” (from the Greek word “soma”) and more specifically relates to the internal physical experience.
Everything began to shift when I discovered somatic movement. Through mindful movement practices, I learned how to release tension, come out of the busy mind and reconnect with a sense of peace I didn’t think was possible.
The more I practiced, the more regulated I felt within my nervous system.

The more I practiced, the more regulated I felt within my nervous system.
I feel more connected to people, my anxiety has softened, and I have more energy. My mood is lighter, I feel calmer and more joyful, more relaxed, and I sleep more deeply.
I’m less reactive, less argumentative, and far more patient — with others and with myself.
I’m able to deal with stressful situations better than before, and feel I can tolerate more of life’s challenges.
Now, as a somatic movement teacher, I support others who feel stuck in cycles of stress and overwhelm. My sessions create space for you to notice what’s really happening in your body, to gently unwind tension, slow down and rediscover a more grounded, spacious way of being. Of course, life still has it's ups and downs, and I'm not calm all the time, but I now have the tools to help me when I need them
If you’re tired of running on empty, I would love to guide you in exploring somatic movement. Together, we’ll find practices that meet you where you are and help you feel more grounded, calm, and alive.
